As promised I wanted to introduce another animal saved by the help of Nata Libera, the animal welfare charity.

Elvo_010

Elvo was chucked into the River Elvo and left to die. After trying to cross the river by balancing on rocks he was rescued by the team at Nata Libera. Despite suffering bad bronchitis, a weak heart and an eye infection we are pleased to report that he is on the mend.

So Elvo here’s your five minutes of fame: How would you describe yourself

"I’m cute, cuddly and looking for a makeover!"

Next up is Snowball who found love at the Sanctuary with Gemma, the monkey donkey……….

Pitches always get us expecting the unexpected, but we weren’t expecting quite that level of welcome. We were relieved to find as we approached that they were guarding the small grey doors to the left of the main entrance. Apparently you can access Kensington Palace there.

The pitch was for an exciting new mortgage company who have ambitious plans. All very hush hush right now, but we find out if this week if we are successful.

Francesca and Olivia raided Whole Foods on the way back – purely for research purposes (their choc chip cookies are yum!).

Some of the creative team went along to the D&AD presidents lecture ‘Digital Pecha Kucha’. 12 digital agencies presented 20 slides on any subject they wanted, fairly standard stuff. But Pecha Kucha has a great rule, you can only spend 20 seconds on each slide. Its an import from Japan, created by Klein Dytham Architecture who were bored listening to presentations that went on and on (we have all been there and no doubt guilt of this too!).

Hats off to the presenters who all did a good job. Special shout outs to Mook and Allofus – ask Mook where they got their name from! Also big pat on the back to D&AD for having the vision to put on this event. You can find out more about Pecha Kucha and get along to one of their next nights http://www.pecha-kucha.org/

Made in america

Gary went to America and came back with some treats that gave out some major sugar rushes – what a sweetie!
