We're talking Twittering – so, supporting our belief that social networks hold a valuable mine of resources the Guardian revealed a few days ago the results of a YouGov survey of more than 2000 adults – of whom 200 used Twitter regularly. The results, though more a pure social comment than marketing specific, still showed just how far this media has evolved – especially amongst those with a more liberal way of thinking. In fact libertarian campaigns really flourish. So, got a cause? a crusade? a march? want to ensure the survival of mankind? animal-kind? – in fact almost anything so long as it's kind… get Tweeting. We love Volkswagen's 'Fun Theory' it's Activism at its best and aims to encourage people to change their everyday behavior for the better. We all could do with a bit of that now and then!
VW Sweden and DDB Stockholm came up with an experiment the to see whether people would opt to take the stairs over the adjacent escalator when exiting a train station. They transformed the staircase into a piano, with each step carrying a different note when stepped on. Watch the video to see just how much of the inner child and feel good was unlocked by this creative car brand.
A new piece of our work … spotted and snapped in Holborn. We recently completed a 25 Year celebratory wall chart for Edexcel. Their BTEC qualifications have been around since 1983, the year the race horse Shergar went missing and we shivered over the miners strikes. Many happy returns to BTEC :-)
